ROOKIE BOYS (Grade 7) vs. St. Camillus - Lost 31-18
BANTAM BOYS (Grade 6) vs. St. Anastasia - Won 23-15
Great passing, assists and excellent defense with lots of rebounds!
NOVICE BOYS (Grade 5) vs. St. Gregory - Lost
PEEWEE (Grades 3 & 4) vs. St. Luke - Won 12-10
with 12 points coming from Sebastian Hamilton. Mackenzie Cohen rebounded and played some monster defense, along with Vincent Shoule and Justin Day. The whole effort by the team gave the PeeWees their first win of the season!
BANTAM GIRLS (Grades 5 & 6) vs. St. Joan - Lost 12-9
Five of the six players played their first ever CYO basketball game! Despite not having a full team at practice yet, the girls played well together and had two very close games this weekend. We expect to see a lot of growth and improvements over the next few years from Coach Chris Harris and his squad.
SUB-NOVICE CO-ED (Grades 1, 2, & 3) vs. Immaculate Conception
These are the cutest games to watch. Having back to back games was good for the sub-novice team. They were able to take what they learned from Saturdays game into Sundays game. Every player touched the ball. There were 2 offensive passes before attempting a shot! The team also knew their positions, swung the ball around the key, played excellent defense, and stayed focused. Coach Danny should be so proud of his work! The kids are getting the hang of it!
Sunday, Feb. 6th
SUB-NOVICE CO-ED (Grades 1, 2, & 3) vs. St. Adalbert

INTERMEDIATE GIRLS (Grade 8) vs. Queen of Peace
Intermediate Girls won 27-15. After being down 10-4 the team went on a 23-2 run from the 2nd quarter through part of the 4th quarter to put the game away. 6 out of 9 girls scored with a lot of good passing and teamwork.
